Product details

The LX0FH012 is a replacement or spare contactor coil for the TeSys F range, designed to bolt into the contactor frame and energize the main poles. The latching type holds position magnetically when energized; unlatching takes 45–50 ms, and full unlatching (drop-out) runs 50–100 ms — fast enough for most motor-start and isolation sequences.

Key electrical and mechanical ratings

Coil resistance is 104.8 Ohm at 68 °F (20 °C) in the latching state, and 6622 Ohm in the unlatching state — the high unlatching resistance means the coil driver sees a much lower holding current once the contactor is sealed, which reduces heat in the panel. The control circuit voltage limits are 0.85 to 1.1 times Uc for both latching and unlatching, so on a 440 V nominal circuit the coil stays pulled in down to about 374 V and releases reliably up to 484 V.

Frequently asked questions

What is the control voltage and frequency for this coil?

The LX0FH012 is rated for 440 V AC at 50/60 Hz. It is a latching-type coil, so it holds position when energized and releases when power is removed.

What is the operating time for this contactor coil?

Unlatching (drop-out) takes 50 to 100 ms, and latching (pick-up) takes 45 to 50 ms.

What is the mechanical durability of this coil?

Rated at 1 million mechanical cycles, with a maximum operating rate of 120 cycles per hour at 40 °C.
