Coil for TeSys F contactors — 208 V AC/DC
The LX0FJ020 is a replacement coil for the TeSys F contactor range, rated for a 208 V control circuit that accepts both AC (50–400 Hz) and DC supply. The latching coil draws 208 V at a resistance of 24.4 Ω (at 20 °C), while the unlatching coil measures 2643 Ω at the same temperature — the large ratio tells you the unlatching circuit is a low-current hold path, not a continuous power draw. Operating time is specified as 50–100 ms for unlatching and 40–75 ms for latching. That's fast enough for most motor-switching sequences but worth checking if your application requires coordinated timing with upstream devices. The maximum operating rate is 120 cycles per hour at 40 °C — above that, the thermal rise in the coil may exceed the insulation class.
Integration notes
The coil mounts directly onto the TeSys F contactor frame — no adapter or bracket needed. Control circuit voltage limits are 0.85–1.1 Uc for both latching and unlatching, so the supply must stay within 177–229 V for reliable pick-up and drop-out. Mechanical durability is rated at 1 million cycles, which aligns with the contactor's own mechanical life under light duty.
