TeSys Deca coil for 80/95 A frames
The LX1D6E5 is a replacement coil from the TeSys Deca range, designed to fit Schneider 80 A and 95 A contactor frames. It runs on 48 V AC at 50 Hz — a common control voltage in European panel builds. Coil technology is basic: no built-in suppressor module. If your panel has a PLC or electronic controller driving this contactor, you will need an external RC snubber or varistor across the coil to suppress back-EMF at dropout.
Power draw and thermal budget
Inrush is 200 VA at 50 Hz (cos φ 0.75), dropping to 20 VA hold-in (cos φ 0.3). The closed-circuit inductance is 0.35 H, with an average resistance of 5.5 Ω at 20 °C. Heat dissipation runs 6–10 W at 50/60 Hz — enough to nudge the temperature inside a tightly packed panel, so check the ambient derating curve if the enclosure runs warm. That suits moderate-speed applications like conveyor or pump cycling — not high-speed pick-and-place.
Obsolete — sourcing through independent channels
Schneider lists the LX1D6E5 as obsolete. The part is available through independent surplus and broker channels — quantities are lot-specific and confirmed at RFQ. For a BOM freeze or MRO spare, the practical path is to source this coil against an RFQ. A genuine Schneider coil from TeSys Deca stock — same part, different passport — is the goal; confirm the coil voltage and frame fit before committing.
