Product details

The LX1FF076 is a replacement coil for the TeSys F contactor range, rated for 76 V AC at 50 Hz control circuits. It draws 550 VA inrush and 45 VA hold-in at 50 Hz, cos φ 0.3, dissipating 12 to 16 W at 50 Hz. The coil has no built-in suppressor module, so you need to add an external RC snubber or varistor across the coil terminals if the PLC output or relay driving it requires transient suppression.

Integration notes

The coil mounts onto the TeSys F contactor magnet assembly — it is not a standalone part. Closing time is 23 to 35 ms, opening 5 to 15 ms. The coil resistance is 2.98 Ω at 20 °C, and the closed-circuit inductance is 0.4 H. Drop-out occurs between 0.35 and 0.55 Uc, and pick-up requires 0.85 to 1.1 Uc. If your control supply sags during inrush from other loads, the coil may chatter or fail to close — check the transformer sizing and wire gauge.
