The LX1FG170 is a replacement coil for the TeSys F contactor range, rated for 170 V AC at 50 Hz control circuits. It pulls 805 VA inrush and 55 VA hold-in at 50 Hz, cos φ 0.3, at 20 °C. That inrush figure matters for sizing the control transformer — you need enough VA headroom to pull the contactor in without dipping the control bus below the dropout threshold. Coil resistance is 9.11 Ω at 20 °C, and the closed-circuit inductance is 1.53 H. The dropout voltage range is 0.35 to 0.55 Uc (about 60 to 94 V), and pickup is guaranteed between 0.85 and 1.1 Uc (145 to 187 V) at 55 °C. If your control supply sags under load, that 0.85 Uc pickup floor is the number to check against your transformer regulation. There is no built-in suppressor module on this coil. That means you need to add an external RC snubber or varistor across the coil terminals if the contactor is driven by a PLC output or solid-state relay — otherwise the inductive kick can weld relay contacts or damage the driver. Standard practice is a 24-47 Ω / 0.1-0.47 µF RC network for 170 V AC coils.
