Control circuit behaviour
This coil has no built-in suppressor module, so you'll need to add an external RC snubber or varistor across the coil terminals if driving it from a PLC output or solid-state relay — otherwise the inductive kick can weld relay contacts or reset the controller. Drop-out voltage is 0.35 to 0.55 Uc (about 9 to 14 V AC) at 131 °F (55 °C); pick-up is 0.85 to 1.1 Uc (22 to 29 V AC). That's a wide hysteresis, so a sagging 24 V control transformer won't accidentally drop the contactor out — it holds until the voltage falls well below nominal.
Duty cycle and environment
Maximum operating rate is 2400 cycles per hour at 131 °F (55 °C) — that's one cycle every 1.5 seconds, enough for rapid cycling applications like conveyor indexing or packaging machine dwell.
