The LX1FH5752 is a replacement contactor coil from the Schneider Electric TeSys range, designed to fit TeSys F contactors. It operates on a 550-575 V AC control circuit at 40-400 Hz, dissipating 8 W of heat during continuous energization. The coil is specified without a built-in suppressor module, meaning the installer must add an RC snubber or varistor across the terminals if the control circuit drives inductive loads that could cause voltage spikes. Opening time is 100-170 ms, closing time 40-65 ms — the slower opening is inherent to the AC coil design and acceptable for standard motor starting duty.
The 550-575 V AC control voltage is non-standard for many panel designs — most industrial control circuits run at 110-120 V or 220-240 V AC. Verify that the control transformer and protection devices in your panel support this voltage before ordering. Drop-out occurs at 0.35-0.55 Uc (approximately 192-316 V), and the coil holds in at 0.85-1.1 Uc (467-632 V). If your control voltage sags below 467 V during motor starting, the coil may drop out and the contactor will open. This is typical for AC coils and should be factored into the control circuit design. Maximum operating rate is 2400 cycles per hour at 55 °C, which limits the coil to about 40 operations per minute at full temperature. For higher cycling applications (frequent jogging or reversing), a DC coil or a larger contactor frame would be required. The coil dissipates 8 W continuously.
