The LX1FH7002 is a TeSys F contactor coil from Schneider Electric, designed to operate the main poles of a TeSys F contactor at 700 V AC, 40...400 Hz. It is a replacement coil, not a complete contactor — you pair it with the matching contactor frame. This coil draws 650 VA inrush at 20 °C (cos φ 0.9) and settles to 10 VA holding power (cos φ 0.3). The 8 W heat dissipation at rated frequency means the panel builder should allow airflow around the contactor — especially if multiple units are ganged. Operating time is 100...170 ms to open, 40...65 ms to close — typical for a large-frame AC coil. The mechanical durability of 10 Mcycles is generous for a coil this size, but the maximum operating rate of 2400 cycles/hour at 55 °C sets a practical limit for high-speed applications like motor reversing or capacitor switching.

Electrical Fit — What the Ratings Mean
The control circuit voltage is 700 V AC, 40...400 Hz — this is a high-voltage coil, not a standard 24 V or 230 V unit. The operational voltage limits are 0.85...1.1 Uc (595...770 V AC) at 55 °C, and drop-out occurs at 0.35...0.55 Uc (245...385 V AC). If your control supply sags below 595 V, the contactor may not pull in reliably. Coil resistance is 0.8 Ω inrush and 20 Ω holding at 20 °C. The inrush current can be calculated from the 650 VA figure — roughly 0.93 A at 700 V — but the holding current drops to about 14 mA. The coil has no built-in suppressor module, so you must add an external RC snubber or varistor if driving it from a PLC output or solid-state relay. The coil is rated for AC control circuits only (40...400 Hz) — do not apply DC voltage.
