What the 850 V AC rating means in practice
The 850 V AC control circuit voltage is the coil's rated operating voltage. At 50/60 Hz, the coil impedance is designed for that specific RMS voltage.
Integration note
The LX1FJ850 mounts directly onto the TeSys F contactor frame, replacing the existing coil assembly. No wiring harness modification is required if the existing coil is the same voltage — swap the coil, re-terminate the two control wires, and test the pickup. The coil is a single-unit package, so order one per contactor.
