What this coil fits and what it needs
The LX1FK175 is a replacement coil for Schneider TeSys LC1F contactors. The coil draws 23.5 Ω inrush resistance at 20 °C and 594 Ω holding resistance at 20 °C — the shift between inrush and sealed current is built into the coil design, so the contactor's control transformer must be sized for the inrush draw. Opening time is 100...170 ms, closing time 40...75 ms. That closing speed is fast enough for standard motor starting but not for high-speed synchronous switching — if you need contact closure within one cycle of line frequency, this coil won't deliver it.
Coil voltage tolerance and dropout behaviour
The coil holds in across 0.85...1.1 Uc at 55 °C — that is 149...193 V AC. Dropout occurs between 0.3...0.5 Uc, or 53...88 V AC. For a panel running on a marginal 175 V supply, the 15 % undervoltage margin is adequate; below 149 V the contactor drops and must be re-energised. No built-in suppressor module is fitted, so an external RC snubber or varistor across the coil terminals is recommended if the contactor switches inductive loads or if the PLC output driving it is solid-state.
Mechanical limits and ambient conditions
Rated for 10 million mechanical cycles and a maximum operating rate of 2400 cycles per hour at 55 °C. That rate translates to one operation every 1.5 seconds — fine for conveyor jogging or pump sequencing, but not for high-speed pick-and-place or servo brake control. The coil is a single-unit package; order one per contactor.
