Product details

What this coil is for

It's the part you swap when the original coil opens or shorts — not a contactor body, just the electromagnet that pulls the main poles in. Rated for continuous duty at 850 V AC, 50 or 60 Hz. No built-in suppressor module, so if your circuit needs RC snubbing or varistor protection, you add it externally across the coil terminals.

Durability and operating rate

Rated for 5 million mechanical cycles — that's the coil plunger and armature wear life, not the contactor's electrical endurance under load. Electrical life will be lower depending on the switched current and duty class. Maximum operating rate is 1200 cycles per hour at 55 °C. Above that temperature, derate the cycling frequency to avoid coil overheating from the cumulative I²R heating.

Frequently asked questions

What contactor does this coil fit?

It's the replacement coil for the TeSys F contactor range. The LX1F family covers the full TeSys F line — match the voltage (850 V AC) and coil code to your contactor's rating plate.

Does this coil have a built-in surge suppressor?

No. The coil technology is listed as without built-in suppressor module. If your application requires transient suppression, add an external RC snubber or varistor across the A1-A2 terminals.

What is the maximum cycling rate?

1200 cycles per hour at 55 °C. Above that ambient temperature, reduce the switching frequency to prevent coil thermal damage.
