The LX1LD020 is a replacement coil for the TeSys Integral line of combination starters — the part that pulls the contactor in when 24 V AC at 60 Hz is applied to the control circuit. It draws 420 to 500 VA inrush at 60 Hz with a 0.55 power factor, then settles to 24 to 36 VA holding power once the magnetic circuit closes. The coil resistance measures 0.213 Ohm at 68 °F (20 °C). Dropout occurs between 0.25 and 0.7 times Uc at temperatures up to 131 °F (55 °C).
Because this is a replacement coil for a specific Integral starter frame, the physical fit (mounting holes, plunger stroke, terminal spacing) is fixed to that platform. No direct drop-in successor is listed in the official lifecycle record. A cross-reference search against the TeSys coil family is warranted if a new-production alternative is preferred.
The 24 V AC 60 Hz control voltage is specific — not 50 Hz, not DC. If your panel supply is 24 V DC or 50 Hz mains, this coil will not pull in reliably or will overheat. The 420-500 VA inrush figure governs the control transformer sizing: a 50 VA transformer will drop voltage on pickup and may fail to close the contactor. Size the transformer for at least 500 VA momentary or use a dedicated control power supply. The hold-in power of 24-36 VA is the steady-state load the coil presents once sealed. This determines the thermal load on the control circuit and the rating of any pilot devices switching the coil.
