The LX1LD048 is a replacement coil from the Schneider Electric TeSys range, designed to retrofit into TeSys contactor and motor-starter bases that accept the LX1 coil platform. It is wound for 48 V AC 50 Hz control circuits. The coil draws 350...400 VA inrush at 50 Hz with a cos phi of 0.55, then settles to 20...30 VA hold-in power at cos phi 0.28. The 1.26 Ohm resistance at 68 °F (20 °C) and 0.29 H closed-circuit inductance are what the contactor's magnetic circuit expects — swap in a different coil and the pickup curve shifts.
Schneider has marked the LX1LD048 as obsolete. No official successor part is listed on the lifecycle record.
The coil holds in across 0.85...1.1 Uc (roughly 40.8...52.8 V AC) at up to 131 °F (55 °C). Drop-out occurs between 0.25...0.7 Uc (12...33.6 V AC). If your panel's control transformer sags below 40 V under load, the contactor may drop out — check your secondary voltage regulation before committing this coil to a new build.
