What This Coil Does in the Panel
The LX1LD190 is a replacement coil for Schneider Electric TeSys Integral starters, designed to pull in and hold the contactor armature on a 230-240 V AC 60 Hz control circuit. At inrush it draws 420-500 VA at 60 Hz with a 0.55 power factor — the surge is brief but the control transformer must be sized to deliver that without dropping below the 0.85 Uc dropout threshold. Once sealed, hold-in consumption drops to 24-36 VA at 0.28 power factor, with a closed-circuit inductance of 4.5 H and a DC resistance of 23.24 Ω at 20°C.
Sourcing Reality — Obsolete, No Direct Successor
Schneider lists the LX1LD190 as obsolete. For a BOM line that needs this exact coil, the only channel is independent surplus or broker stock. Availability is lot-specific and confirmed at RFQ; quantities are not held in regular distribution. If you are evaluating a board spin or panel redesign, the functional replacement is a different coil form factor — the LX1LD190's mounting and electrical interface are specific to the Integral platform, not the current TeSys island or TeSys GV series.
