The Schneider Electric LX4FF027 is a replacement contactor coil from the TeSys range, designed for DC low-consumption control circuits at 27 V DC nominal. It's a service part — the kind of item you order when a contactor in the field loses its coil and you need to swap the magnet assembly rather than replace the whole contactor block. The coil pulls in at 0.85 to 1.1 times Uc at 55 °C and drops out between 0.15 and 0.2 Uc — so on a 27 V DC bus it holds in down to roughly 23 V and releases somewhere around 4 to 5.4 V. Operating time runs 30 to 40 ms closing, 30 to 50 ms opening.
The 27 V DC coil voltage is the critical fit parameter — it must match the existing contactor's control voltage. The coil has no built-in suppressor module, so if your contactor base expects a suppressed coil or your DC bus has significant switching transients, you will need to add an external flyback diode or RC snubber across the coil terminals. Average resistance is 1.44 ohms inrush and 237.6 ohms holding at 20 °C, which gives you the steady-state current draw for your control transformer sizing.
