The LX4FG060S207 is a replacement coil for TeSys F contactors, rated 72 V DC wide range control voltage. It pulls 800 W inrush at 20 °C and settles to 5 W holding power — the inrush figure tells you the coil driver needs to handle that surge without droop, or the contactor may chatter on close. Operating time runs 30...40 ms closing, 30...50 ms opening. That's fast enough for most motor switching but not for synchronous transfer switching — if you need faster break, look at a DC fast-acting contactor instead.
Key electrical constraints
Control voltage limits: operational range is 0.85...1.1 Uc at 55 °C, drop-out at 0.15...0.2 Uc at 55 °C. Coil resistance: 5.07 Ohm inrush, 984 Ohm holding at 20 °C. The inductance of the closed circuit is 85 H — that's a high inductance for a DC coil, meaning the holding current is low but the magnetic energy stored is substantial. Without a built-in suppressor module (this coil has none), you need an external flyback diode or varistor across the coil to protect the control circuit from the inductive kick.
Rated for 10 Mcycles mechanical durability at a maximum operating rate of 60 cycles per hour at 55 °C. Ambient temperature range -5...55 °C. That's standard for a TeSys F coil — it'll outlast the contactor in most panel applications.
