TeSys F contactor coil for 125 V DC control
The LX4FH100 is a replacement coil for the TeSys F contactor range, designed for 125 V DC wide-range control circuits. It is not a complete contactor — it is the service part that goes into the contactor frame when the coil fails or the control voltage needs changing. Closing time is 40 to 50 ms; opening time is 40 to 65 ms. Mechanical durability is rated at 1 million cycles, which aligns with the contactor frame's own mechanical life in most panel applications.
Coil electrical characteristics and thermal limits
Inrush power at 20 °C is 750 W, dropping to 5 W holding. The inrush resistance is 13.8 ohms; holding resistance is 2520 ohms. The inductance of the closed circuit is 353 H — this matters for the DC-supply sizing because the inrush current spike is brief but high. The coil operates from 0.7 to 1.25 times the rated control voltage at 70 °C, and drops out between 0.2 and 0.45 Uc. Ambient temperature range is -55 to 70 °C, covering most indoor panel environments and some outdoor cabinets. Maximum operating rate is 60 cycles per hour at 70 °C — above that the coil temperature rise may exceed the insulation class. No built-in suppressor module is included; an external flyback diode or varistor should be added across the coil if the control circuit requires it.
