The LX4FJ150 is a replacement coil for Schneider TeSys FJ series contactors, rated for 150 V DC control circuits. It's a DC low-consumption design — the inrush coil resistance is 19.81 Ω at 20 °C, then the holding circuit switches to a 4985 Ω path, dropping the hold current to a fraction of the pick-up draw. That matters for DC supplies where sustained coil power adds up, or where the control transformer is already loaded. Opening time is 45–60 ms; closing time is 50–60 ms. The coil has no built-in suppressor module, so you'll need an external flyback diode or RC snubber across the coil if the control circuit doesn't already have one — standard practice for DC coils driving inductive loads.
Control voltage limits and operating range
The coil holds in at 85–110 % of rated Uc (127.5–165 V DC) at 55 °C, and drops out between 20–35 % of Uc (30–52.5 V DC). That's a wide dropout margin — useful if your DC bus sags during a motor start or a downstream short.
