Overview
The LX4FK100 is a Schneider TeSys F replacement contactor coil, order code LX4FK100, rated for 100 V DC control voltage and designed specifically for the LC1F500 contactor frame. It is a DC low-consumption coil without a built-in suppressor module, packaged as a PCE unit, and carries an 18-month warranty.
This coil provides the magnetic force to close the main poles of the LC1F500 contactor when 100 V DC is applied. The 2410 ohm resistance defines the steady-state current draw — lower than an equivalent AC coil at the same voltage, which matters for DC control circuits where power supply sizing and heat dissipation are constraints. The coil has no built-in suppressor module; an external suppressor (such as the LA4FDE or LA4FDV diode module) must be added across the coil terminals if the control circuit requires flyback suppression to protect DC drivers or PLC outputs. Rated operating time is 45 ms, which is the interval from energization to full magnetic closure — a figure to consider when sequencing contactors in high-speed transfer or reversing applications.
Applications
The LX4FK100 is used as a service part for TeSys F contactors in motor control centers, pump panels, conveyor drives, and HVAC equipment where the contactor must be replaced or the coil voltage changed. It fits the LC1F500 contactor, which is common in heavy industrial applications such as crushers, compressors, and large fans where the main contactor handles currents up to 500 A in AC-3 duty.
