Product details

The LX4FL200 is a TeSys FK contactor coil designed for 200 V DC control circuits. It is a service part (category 18401) for replacing or populating the coil on a compatible TeSys contactor frame. Opening time is 40 to 50 ms; closing time is 60 to 70 ms — a consistent, narrow band that matters when sequencing contactors in a motor starter or transfer scheme.

Control voltage and dropout behaviour

Rated control circuit voltage is 200 V DC. The coil drops out between 0.2 and 0.35 Uc at 131 °F (55 °C), and operates reliably from 0.85 to 1.1 Uc at the same temperature. That means the dropout threshold is well below the nominal hold level, giving a clean break without chatter. The coil has no built-in suppressor module. If the control circuit drives inductive loads or long wiring runs, an external flyback diode or RC snubber across the coil terminals is needed to protect the DC supply and limit EMI.
