The LX4FX200 is a replacement contactor coil from the Schneider Electric TeSys range, designed for DC low-consumption control circuits at 200 V DC. Rated operating time is 100...130 ms for opening and 70...80 ms for closing — the slower opening window matters for sequencing interlocks where you need to guarantee the main poles clear before an auxiliary contact closes. The coil ships without a built-in suppressor module, so you will need to add an external flyback diode or RC snubber across the terminals to protect the control circuit from the inductive kick.
Verify the coil voltage matches your existing contactor base before committing the BOM line.
Control voltage and limits
The coil holds at 200 V DC nominal, with an operational range of 0.85...1.1 Uc (170...220 V DC) at 131 °F (55 °C). Drop-out occurs between 0.2...0.4 Uc (40...80 V DC) at the same temperature — meaning the contactor will stay sealed through a moderate brownout but releases cleanly when the control voltage collapses. Ambient operating temperature is rated from 23...131 °F (-5...55 °C), so it is fine inside a ventilated panel but not for direct outdoor exposure without a weatherproof enclosure.
