The LX4FX340 is a replacement contactor coil from the Schneider Electric TeSys FX range, designed for DC low-consumption control circuits at 340 V DC. It is the coil assembly only — not a complete contactor — intended for field replacement when the original FX-series coil fails. The coil operates with an opening time of 100...130 ms and a closing time of 70...80 ms, with control voltage limits of 0.85...1.1 Uc for operation and 0.2...0.4 Uc for drop-out at 131 °F (55 °C). Ambient air temperature range for operation is 23...131 °F (-5...55 °C). This coil is supplied without a built-in suppressor module, so an external flyback diode or RC snubber must be added across the coil terminals to protect the control circuit from inductive kickback during de-energization.
Fit and Integration Notes
The 340 V DC control voltage is non-standard for most panel designs. Confirm your control circuit delivers 340 V DC nominal before committing the BOM line.
