The LX9FF600 is a specific replacement coil for the TeSys F range of contactors, designed for 600 V AC control circuits at 40...400 Hz with low consumption draw. It's the coil that makes the contactor pull in and hold — without it, the main power contacts don't close.
Rated for 600 V AC control voltage, with an operating window of 0.85...1.1 Uc at 131 °F (55 °C) and a dropout range of 0.2...0.55 Uc. Closing time is 35 ms, opening 130 ms — the asymmetry is normal for AC-operated contactor coils. The slower opening is inherent to the magnetic circuit decay. For most motor and heater switching, that's fine; for fast-reversing or synchronised sequences, verify the 130 ms break fits your cycle time. Inrush power hits 690...855 W at 68 °F (20 °C), then settles to 6.6...8.1 W holding. That's the low-consumption design — the coil driver sees a brief surge then a light load. Coil resistance drops from 501 Ω inrush to 29,674 Ω holding, and closed-circuit inductance is 44 H. No built-in suppressor module, so you'll need an external RC snubber or varistor across the coil if driving from a PLC or solid-state output. Rated for 10 million mechanical cycles and 1200 operations per hour at 131 °F (55 °C). Ambient operating range is 23...131 °F (-5...55 °C). If your panel hits higher than that, you'll need to derate or move the coil outside the hot zone.
