The TeSys F LX9FG150 is a specific replacement coil for the TeSys F contactor range, wound for 150 V AC control at 40 to 400 Hz. It is a low-consumption design, drawing 950 to 1180 VA inrush and holding at 8.9 to 10.9 VA — the inrush figure governs the control transformer sizing; the hold-in figure determines the continuous heat load on the panel. Opening time is 130 ms, closing 35 ms, which sets the minimum off-time for anti-jog or fast-reversing circuits: you need at least 130 ms of de-energized dwell before re-closing, or the armature may not fully reset.
The coil dissipates 8 to 9.8 W continuously when energized. That heat must be accounted for in the enclosure thermal budget — in a sealed panel with multiple contactors running, the cumulative dissipation from these coils can raise internal ambient above the 55 °C operating limit. The coil has no built-in suppressor module, so an external RC snubber or varistor across the coil terminals is required to limit switching transients that could couple into the control wiring. The control voltage limits are 0.85 to 1.1 Uc for pickup (127.5 to 165 V AC) and 0.35 to 0.55 Uc for dropout (52.5 to 82.5 V AC) at 55 °C — the dropout margin is generous, so the coil will hold in through moderate sags, but it also means a downstream undervoltage relay may drop out before the contactor does.
