The LX9FG350 is a specific contactor coil from the TeSys F range, designed for 350 V AC control circuits at 40–400 Hz with low-consumption draw. It is the replacement coil for TeSys F contactors that use this dedicated coil platform — not a universal fit, but the exact OEM part for the frame. Rated control voltage is 350 V AC; operational limits are 0.85–1.1 Uc at 131 °F (55 °C), with drop-out at 0.35–0.55 Uc. Opening time is 130 ms, closing time 35 ms. The coil draws 950–1180 VA inrush at 68 °F (20 °C) and settles to 8.9–10.9 VA holding. Heat dissipation runs 8–9.8 W, so panel ventilation around the contactor stack matters if you are grouping several on a DIN rail. The coil ships without a built-in suppressor module — if your application needs transient suppression (common on PLC-driven contactors), plan to add an external RC snubber or varistor across the coil terminals.
Because it is a specific coil for the TeSys F frame, there is no direct drop-in successor with the same mounting and electrical profile. If you are maintaining an existing panel, the LX9FG350 is the correct replacement for a failed coil. For new designs, consider whether the contactor assembly itself should be migrated to a current TeSys range.
Integration Notes
Operating temperature range is 23 to 131 °F (-5 to 55 °C). If the coil is in a non-ventilated enclosure near other heat sources, stay below the upper end to avoid accelerated insulation aging. The 8–9.8 W dissipation is continuous — it adds up in a multi-contactor panel.
