The LX9FJ921 is a specific contactor coil from the TeSys F range, designed to replace or populate the coil on TeSys F contactors. It's a replacement part, not a standalone contactor — you're swapping the coil on an existing F-frame unit, not buying a new contactor assembly. The control circuit accepts both AC 40-400 Hz and DC low-consumption supplies, with a rated control voltage of 63-70 V DC or 75 V AC at 40-400 Hz. Opening time is 60 ms, closing time is 20 ms. Heat dissipation runs 11.4 to 13.9 W, so factor that into your panel thermal budget if you're running multiple coils in a confined enclosure.
Coil technology note
The coil comes without a built-in suppressor module. If your application requires suppression (e.g., for PLC output protection or to reduce EMI), you'll need to add an external RC snubber or varistor across the coil terminals. The inrush power is 500 VA at 20 °C; hold-in power drops to 23 VA. The drop-out voltage range is 0.3 to 0.5 Uc at 55 °C, so the coil releases reliably down to about 19 V DC or 22 V AC.
