It is a field-replaceable component, not a complete contactor — you swap the coil when the original fails or you need a different control voltage. The control circuit accepts either 75 V DC or 80 to 87 V AC at 40 to 400 Hz. That dual rating covers most 110 VAC-derived control transformers with a center tap or a dedicated 75 VDC supply. The coil holds in at 23 VA on AC; inrush hits 500 VA at 20 °C. There is no built-in suppressor module. If the contactor drives an inductive load — motor starter, heater contactor — you will need an external RC snubber or varistor across the coil terminals to protect the PLC output or relay driving it. Thermal and mechanical limits
Heat dissipation runs 11.4 to 13.9 W depending on control voltage and duty. That is not trivial inside a sealed enclosure — check the panel temperature rise if you cluster several TeSys F contactors. That is fast enough for a repetitive pick-and-place or conveyor indexing application; for continuous high-speed counting you may need a larger frame or a dedicated DC coil variant.
Because this is a specific coil for the TeSys F platform, it is not a generic substitute for other contactor families. If your BOM calls out LX9FJ922, the fit is confirmed for the TeSys F frame.
