The LX9FK920 is a specific contactor coil from the TeSys F range, designed to replace or populate the coil on a TeSys F contactor. It operates on a 57...62 V DC control circuit and is built for low consumption — inrush power is 550 VA at 20 °C, hold-in drops to 31 VA at the same temperature. Opening time is 60 ms, closing time is 50 ms.
Control voltage and coil suppression
The coil is rated for 57...62 V DC control. Operational limits are 0.85...1.1 Uc at 55 °C; dropout occurs between 0.3 and 0.5 Uc at the same temperature. There is no built-in suppressor module, so you will need to add an external flyback diode or RC snubber across the coil terminals to protect the control circuit from inductive kickback.
This coil is a direct replacement for the coil on a TeSys F contactor. The control circuit accepts AC 40...400 Hz or low-consumption DC, so it can be driven from a standard 24 VDC supply stepped up through a DC-DC converter or a dedicated 60 VDC rail. Heat dissipation runs 15...18.3 W, so account for that in the enclosure thermal budget.
