What this drive delivers at the spindle
The LXM05BD10F1 is a single-phase Lexium 05 motion servo drive rated 0.4 kW nominal power at 4 kHz switching frequency. It pulls 7 A line current at 120 V input (7.6 A at 110 V) from a 85-132 V supply. The integrated EMC filter saves a panel-mount filter slot on the DIN rail. Continuous output current is 4 A at 4 kHz switching; bump the carrier to 8 kHz and it derates to 3.2 A continuous. Transient RMS output for 3-second bursts hits 7 A at 4 kHz or 6 A at 8 kHz — useful for acceleration peaks on a pick-and-place axis.
I/O and safety inputs for the control loop
The drive carries 2 safety discrete inputs and 4 logic discrete inputs. The safety inputs support the STO function — wire them through a safety relay or light curtain output per the Lexium 05 manual. Modbus communication uses no polarization impedances on the bus. Maximum leakage current is 30 mA; the inrush hits 60 A on power-up. Overvoltage category III means it is rated for fixed-installation distribution-level transients — no additional MOV needed in the panel if the upstream breaker coordinates.
Obsolete — sourcing through independent channels
Schneider has marked the LXM05BD10F1 as obsolete. The drive is sourced through independent surplus and broker channels — quantities are lot-specific and confirmed at RFQ.
