What the line-side ratings mean for panel sizing
The LXM05BD28M2: Line current is 23 A at 200 V and 19.2 A at 240 V — the higher draw sits at the lower supply voltage, which is the usual pattern for a single-phase rectifier input and is what the feeder breaker and branch wiring have to be sized for. Inrush current peaks at 60 A, so any upstream protective device has to ride through that surge without nuisance-tripping on the closing cycle. Power supply voltage limits are 170–264 V against a 200–240 V nominal, giving the standard ±10% / −15% tolerance band the drive tolerates before it drops out or faults on undervoltage.
Output stage — current, switching frequency, duty
Continuous output current is 15 A at the 4 kHz default and 13 A at 8 kHz — raising the switching frequency quiets the motor whine but costs roughly 13% of the continuous output current, and that thermal derating is usually the binding limit on a retrofit. The 2.5 kW nominal power rating is stated at 4 kHz, consistent with the higher of the two current figures. Transient RMS output current is 20 A for 3 seconds at both 4 kHz and 8 kHz, which covers the short-torque-boost window a servo axis typically needs during acceleration. Overvoltage category III confirms the drive is rated for fixed industrial distribution inside the panel, downstream of the building feeder. Maximum leakage current is 30 mA — that figure drives the residual-current device selection upstream, and it is the reason a 30 mA RCD on a single-phase servo feeder will nuisance-trip unless the installer picks a type that tolerates the DC component in the leakage waveform. Supply frequency is 50/60 Hz ±5%, with operating limits 47.5–63 Hz.
I/O and bus interface on this variant
The drive carries 2 safety discrete inputs and 4 logic discrete inputs — the safety pair is the hardware STO interface for the servo loop, separate from the logic-level commands. Modbus is the listed serial bus and the documentation flags no polarization impedances for Modbus on this variant, meaning the bus termination has to be supplied externally on the segment.
