Sizing for a 200 W servo axis
The LXM16DU02M2X is a compact motion servo drive from the Easy Lexium 16 family, rated 0.2 kW nominal power at 220 V with an 8 kHz switching frequency — sized for small indexing or positioning axes on packaging lines, pick-and-place stations, or conveyor diverters. Input is single-phase 200-240 V (supply voltage limits 200...240 V single phase, rated 220 V -15...10 %), drawing 2.5 A line current at 206.1 % of nominal — the high percentage reflects the inrush during acceleration; continuous output current is 1.6 A, with a 3-second peak of 7.5 A for short torque bursts.
Power delivery and overload headroom
Continuous power is 200 W at 220 V; the 3-second peak output current (7.5 A) gives roughly 4.7× the continuous rating — enough for rapid acceleration of low-inertia loads without tripping the drive's I²t limit. Note the drive ships without an internal EMC filter — for CE-marked installations you will need an external filter on the input side. Overvoltage category III means it is rated for fixed-installation mains connection (distribution level, not just socket outlet). Supply frequency tolerance is 50/60 Hz -5...5 %, network frequency range 47.5...63 Hz — compatible with standard mains worldwide. Maximum leakage current is 3.5 mA, relevant for sizing the upstream RCD (type A or B recommended for servo drives).
