1.5 kW at 380 V — continuous and peak current limits
The LXM18MESU15N4X: Rated 1.5 kW at 380...440 V three-phase with an 8 kHz switching frequency — this is the continuous power ceiling when the drive is paired with a matching servo motor. The continuous output current is 5.4 A at that same 8 kHz carrier, which is the thermal limit for steady-state operation; above that the drive enters current foldback. For acceleration transients the drive delivers 14 A for 3 seconds — the overload headroom for quick moves or high-inertia loads. The line current draw is 3.6 A at nominal voltage, which sizes the upstream branch circuit protection and supply wiring.
EtherCAT motion bus — no EMC filter on board
Integrated EtherCAT interface — the drive connects directly to the motion bus without an external communication module. This is the standard fieldbus for coordinated multi-axis systems; cycle times under 1 ms are typical for position and velocity loops over EtherCAT. The drive ships without an internal EMC filter. Factor the filter panel space and cost into the BOM.
Panel layout — IP20, compact housing, 1.2 kg
The compact housing measures 174 mm deep by 55 mm wide by 170 mm tall, fitting a standard DIN-rail footprint with minimal cabinet depth.
Active production — no obsolescence risk
Lifecycle status is active — no end-of-life notice or last-time-buy window on this order code. The Easy Lexium 18 series is Schneider's current-generation compact servo drive family, so the BOM line is stable for new designs and MRO spares alike.
