Easy Lexium 18M — 2.0 kW servo drive for three-phase lines
The LXM18MPDU20N4X is a Schneider Electric Easy Lexium 18M motion servo drive rated for 2.0 kW nominal power at 380...440 V three-phase input with an 8 kHz switching frequency. Continuous output current is 8.4 A at 8 kHz, with a 3-second peak of 20 A — enough headroom for acceleration transients on a 2 kW motor. Line current draw is 5.6 A at nominal supply, so the upstream branch circuit and contactor can be sized accordingly.
Supply voltage and input conditioning
Three-phase input accepts 342...484 V (380...440 V nominal, -10...10 % tolerance) at 50/60 Hz ±5 %, or 47.5...63 Hz network frequency. This unit ships without an internal EMC filter — plan for an external filter or a filtered line reactor if the installation must meet conducted emission limits for the machine directive.
Communication and I/O complement
Integrated Modbus RTU, plus digital and analog I/O, PTI (pulse train input), and PTO (pulse train output) — covers position-indexing and speed-reference applications without an extra motion card.
Mechanical envelope and environmental limits
IP20 protection means it is intended for a clean, dry cabinet interior — not for washdown or dust-laden environments. Rated for 0...45 °C ambient operation and 0...1000 m altitude without derating; above 1000 m the current must be reduced per the drive's altitude derating curve.
