Drive ratings and supply constraints
The LXM18PDU02M2X is rated 0.2 kW nominal power at 220-240 V single phase with an 8 kHz switching frequency. Continuous output current is 1.6 A at 8 kHz, with a 3-second peak capability of 5.9 A — this peak headroom handles acceleration transients on small indexing axes without oversizing the drive. Supply voltage range is 170-255 V single phase, 50-60 Hz. The drive accepts a -15% to +10% tolerance on the 220-240 V nominal, which covers brownout conditions common on single-phase shop-floor circuits. No integrated EMC filter is fitted.
Communication and I/O architecture
The drive integrates Modbus serial communication plus two analogue inputs, digital I/O, a pulse train input (PTI), and a pulse train output (PTO). All I/O is on-board and pre-configured for the Easy Lexium 18 family. Commissioning requires setting the Modbus node ID and baud rate via the drive's software tool; the analogue inputs accept 0-10 V or 4-20 mA for speed/torque reference from a potentiometer or PLC analogue output.
Mounting and environmental envelope
Compact housing format: 155.5 mm wide, 166.5 mm deep, 48.0 mm high. The IP20 rating means it must be mounted inside a closed electrical enclosure — no washdown or dust-exposed locations. Side-by-side mounting is permitted without derating at ambient temperatures up to 45 °C. Operating altitude is limited to 0-1000 m without derating. Above 1000 m, derate output current per IEC 61800-2 guidelines; the drive is not suitable for high-altitude installations above 2000 m without manufacturer consultation.
Lifecycle and sourcing posture
Sourced to order against BOM quantities through independent distribution channels.
