1.5 kW single-phase servo for compact machine axes
The LXM18PDU15M2X is a Schneider Electric Easy Lexium 18 motion servo drive delivering 1.5 kW nominal power at 220-240 V single-phase input with an 8 kHz switching frequency. It supplies 9.5 A continuous output current at 8 kHz and can deliver 29.2 A for 3 seconds peak — enough to handle acceleration transients on a 1.5 kW motor without tripping.
Supply and interface requirements
Runs on single-phase 170-255 VAC at 50-60 Hz, drawing 15.8 A line current at full load. The drive includes integrated Modbus, digital I/O, analog I/O, PTI, and PTO interfaces — no separate fieldbus module needed for basic motion control. The compact housing (155.5 mm wide, 166.5 mm deep, 78 mm high) fits standard cabinet layouts, but the IP20 rating means it needs enclosure protection from dust and moisture. Operating ambient is -5 to 45 °C with no derating at altitudes up to 1000 m — above that, expect reduced output current.
