11 kW servo drive with integrated SIL 3 STO
The LXM32MC10N4 is a Lexium 32 servo drive rated 11 kW continuous at both 400 V and 480 V supply, with a 4 kHz switching frequency. It draws 23.3 A line current at 480 V under 140 % overload; without a line choke that figure climbs to 32 A at 54 % of rated voltage, and with a 0.5 mH external choke it reaches 38.1 A at 70 %. The integrated STO (safe torque off) function is rated SIL 3 per EN/IEC 61508, with a response time ≤ 5 ms on both STO_A and STO_B channels. This meets the safety integrity level required for guarding applications on servo axes without an external safety relay.
Book format and panel integration
The drive ships in a book format — 15.2 in (385 mm) high, 7.09 in (180 mm) wide, 9.4 in (240 mm) deep — designed for vertical mounting within ±10° of plumb. The integrated fan handles cooling; no derating is needed up to 1000 m altitude. Pollution degree 2 per EN/IEC 61800-5-1 and shock resistance rated 15 gn at 11 ms per EN/IEC 60028-2-27. The CN8 terminal torque spec is 33.6 lbf·in (3.8 N·m).
CE marked and designed to EN/IEC 61800-3 for EMC in the drive category. The integrated EMC filter covers conducted emissions for most industrial environments without an external filter. Relative humidity class 3K3 (5 to 85 % without condensation) per IEC 60721-3-3. Supply frequency tolerance is 50/60 Hz ±5 %, with a wider network frequency range of 47.5 to 63 Hz.
