Operating ambient is 0...40 °C with a 10% performance derating from 1000 m to 1500 m altitude and 20% above 1500 m up to 2000 m, which is the usual concern for high-bay or mountain-top cells. Fast-transient immunity is 2 kV and ESD tolerance is 4 kV, putting the controller on the same immunity tier as most industrial PLC I/O.
Ingress, mounting, and how it sits on the line
Base rating is IP20 tabletop mounting — the arm lives inside a cabinet or guarded cell — and a conformity kit lifts the package to IP65 for washdown-adjacent cells. Noise at 70 dB places it below the threshold where hearing-protection PPE becomes mandatory in most jurisdictions, so seating it near an operator station is feasible without acoustic enclosures. The transport and storage window is -20...60 °C, so cold-chain shipping or winter delivery does not require climate-controlled handling.
