Overview
The METSEION92030 is a Schneider Electric PowerLogic ION9000 series power quality meter, order code ION92030, designed for DIN-rail mounting with an IP65 enclosure. It provides 8 digital inputs (30 V AC/60 V DC) and 4 form C relay outputs, and supports simultaneous communication via Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, DNP3, IEC 61850, and ION protocols over dual RJ45 Ethernet ports. The meter operates on a 480 V supply with a rated voltage of 400 V, consumes 38 W, and offers 0.1% accuracy with 1024 samples/cycle for power quality analysis.
Communication
The METSEION92030 supports Modbus RTU, ION, and DNP3 over RS-485 at 2400–115200 bps, plus Modbus TCP, ION TCP, DNP3 TCP, and IEC 61850 over 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet. All protocols can be active simultaneously; no single-protocol selection is required at commissioning. Ethernet services include DHCP client, FTP, HTTP/HTTPS, and Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) for network redundancy.
Compliance
The meter is IEC 61000-4-30 Class A compliant for power quality measurements and generates EN 50160 compliance reports. It also checks IEEE 519 harmonic limits and captures waveform data for analysis. Additional standards include IEC 61010-1, IEC 61326-1, IEC 61557-12, IEC 61850, ANSI C12.20, and UL 61010-1.

With 0.1% accuracy and 1024 samples/cycle, the METSEION92030 suits applications requiring precise harmonic analysis up to the 127th order. Ride-through times range from 100 ms at 120 V AC to 1200 ms at 480 V AC, ensuring operation through brief supply dips. The headless design (no display) is operated via embedded web services for waveform viewing, pass/fail reports for IEEE 519 and EN 50160, and alarm notifications by email. No separate display module is required for setup or ongoing monitoring.
