It combines a 16 A thermal-magnetic MCB (C-curve, 5–10× In magnetic trip) with integrated 30 mA earth-leakage protection on all protected poles, in a single DIN-rail module. The clip-on mounting and 72 mm width (8 × 9 mm pitches) let it snap directly into a distribution board alongside other Acti9 devices — no extra wiring for the RCD element. Rated 16 A at 380–415 V AC, 50 Hz, with a 6 kA breaking capacity (Icn and Icu) per EN/IEC 61009-2-1 and EN/IEC 60947-2. Local signalling (ON, OFF, fault trip) and a contact-position indicator give a visual read on the toggle state without needing to test the circuit — useful during panel commissioning or fault-finding when the door is open.
Clip-on DIN rail mounting, 72 mm wide (8 pitches). Tunnel terminals accept 1–35 mm² rigid or 1–25 mm² flexible copper on top and bottom; strip length 12 mm, tighten to 2 N·m. The 4-pole unit occupies the full width — no half-module savings here, but the integrated earth-leakage saves the space of a separate RCD downstream. IP20 on the front (finger-safe) and IP40 inside the modular enclosure — fine for a dry distribution board, not for washdown areas.
Designed and certified to EN/IEC 61009-2-1 (RCBO product standard) and EN/IEC 60947-2 (for the 6 kA Icu rating). The 8/20 µs impulse withstand of 250 A per the same standard means it survives surge events common in AC networks without nuisance tripping. Suitability for isolation is marked — the toggle provides visible break confirmation for safe isolation during maintenance. Mechanical durability rated at 20,000 cycles, electrical at 10,000 cycles — typical for a distribution-grade RCBO. The toggle is non-padlockable, so if lockout/tagout is required at the device level, a separate lockable isolator upstream is needed.
