Device overview and key ratings
The Schneider Electric MGN19757 is a 2-pole residual current breaker with overcurrent protection (RCBO) from the Acti9 DCP Vigi range, combining a 32 A thermal-magnetic MCB with integrated 30 mA earth-leakage protection in a single 36 mm wide DIN-rail module. Rated 32 A with a C-curve magnetic trip threshold of 5 to 10 times In, so it handles moderate inrush from motor starters or lighting banks without nuisance tripping, while still clearing short circuits up to 10 kA at 230 V AC per EN/IEC 61009-2-1. The integrated 30 mA residual current element covers personnel protection (additional shock-hazard mitigation) and disconnects both poles on a fault, as evidenced by the two protected poles and earth-leakage sensitivity rating.
Installation and panel integration
Tunnel-type terminals accept 1 to 35 mm² rigid or 1 to 25 mm² flexible cable; strip 12 mm and tighten to 2 N·m. IP20 finger-safe on the front face; IP40 within a modular enclosure per IEC 60529. Local signalling via toggle position shows ON, OFF, or fault-trip state; the contact-position indicator confirms isolation status per the suitability-for-isolation declaration.
