The Schneider Electric MGN25117 is a C60H miniature circuit breaker from the Multi9 range, rated 16 A at 50 °C per EN/IEC 60947-2. It's a 2-pole thermal-magnetic unit with a D trip curve — the 12 x In magnetic tripping limit (±20%) handles motor inrush and transformer loads without nuisance trips. Breaking capacity hits 30 kA Icu at 240 V AC phase-to-phase, 15 kA at 415 V, and 10 kA at 440 V, all per the same standard. That's enough fault-clearing headroom for most distribution panels in industrial and commercial buildings. Mounts on a 35 mm symmetrical DIN rail, takes 4 x 9 mm pitches, and the tunnel terminals accept 1 to 25 mm² rigid or flexible conductors.
D curve and selectivity
For a 16 A breaker on a 2-pole 240 V circuit, that gives you a solid selectivity window downstream of a larger upstream device. The rated service breaking capacity Ics is 50% of Icu — 15 kA at 240 V, 7.5 kA at 415 V, 5 kA at 440 V. That's the level the breaker can clear and still be used again.
Built and tested to EN/IEC 60947-2, which covers circuit breakers for industrial applications. The contact position indicator gives a visual ON/OFF confirmation at the toggle.
