The MGN60526: Breaking capacity is listed at 20 kA Icu at 240 V AC phase-to-phase, 10 kA Icu at 415 V AC, and 6 kA Icu at 440 V AC — all per EN/IEC 60947-2. The rated service breaking capacity (Ics) is 75 % of Icu at each voltage level, so at 415 V it can clear 7.5 kA and still be usable afterward — that 75 % ratio is standard for Category A breakers (no intentional short-time delay). Two protected poles, 2P configuration, with suitability for isolation confirmed per EN/IEC 60947-2 — meaning the open contacts provide a visible air gap and the breaker is marked to serve as a disconnecting means. The contact position indicator (ON/OFF indication on the toggle) gives a positive visual confirmation of the contact state, which matters when you are locking out a circuit for maintenance.
Mounts on a 35 mm symmetrical DIN rail — the standard EN 60715 profile — occupying 4 x 9 mm pitches (36 mm wide). The 73 mm depth and 81 mm height fit within the envelope of a standard distribution board or enclosure, but check the gland-plate clearance if the panel has a shallow door or a rear-mounted busbar system. Tunnel-type terminals accept 1.5 to 35 mm² conductors — flexible with or without ferrule, or solid. That 35 mm² top end means it can take a fairly heavy feeder cable for a 32 A circuit, but the terminal design is fixed, not a lug or ring-terminal type, so plan your cable termination method accordingly.
The C60N series has been a workhorse in the Multi9 range for years, and the D-curve variant (MGN60526) is the one you reach for when the load has a high inrush — motor starters, small transformers, discharge lighting. If you are holding a legacy panel that uses an older C60N D32, this is the direct replacement; no adapter or busbar rework needed, provided the DIN-rail pitch and busbar spacing match.
The breaker is designed for distribution duty (Category A, no intentional delay), with an electrical endurance of 10,000 cycles and mechanical endurance of 20,000 cycles. Earth-leakage protection requires a separate block (Vigi or similar) — there is no integral RCD in this unit.
