The MGN60618 is a Schneider Electric C60H miniature circuit breaker in the Multi9 range, rated 40 A at 50 °C with a C trip curve (magnetic tripping limit 8.5 x In ±20 %). The 15 kA Icu at 240 V AC phase-to-neutral (EN/IEC 60947-2) means this breaker can safely interrupt a fault current up to that level without welding its contacts or rupturing the arc chamber; the 7.5 kA Ics (service breaking capacity) at the same voltage tells you it can reclose and carry rated current after one fault operation. At 60 V DC the Icu rises to 24 kA, so it handles DC distribution in telecom or battery-backed circuits. The IP20 finger-safe enclosure suits enclosed panel installation — not washdown or outdoor exposure. Ambient operating range -30 to 70 °C covers most control-room and switchboard environments; storage range -40 to 80 °C.
Certified to EN/IEC 60947-2 (pollution degree 3, utilisation category A). Suitability for isolation is declared per the same standard. Earth-leakage protection requires a separate block. Tunnel-type terminals accept 1.5 to 35 mm² flexible or rigid conductors; tightening torque is 3.5 N·m. The manufacturer's declaration of conformity and full test reports are available on request with the RFQ.
