What this C60N MCB does for a panel
The MGN60871 is a 1-pole C60N miniature circuit-breaker from the Multi9 range, rated 32 A at 50 °C per EN/IEC 60947-2. The C-curve (magnetic trip at 8.5 x In ±20 %) handles inrush from small motors and transformers without nuisance tripping, while the thermal-magnetic trip clears overloads and short-circuits. Breaking capacity is 10 kA Icu at 240 V AC phase-to-neutral, dropping to 3 kA at 415 V AC — so on a 240 V line it handles substantial fault current before the upstream device needs to clear.
The C-curve magnetic trip at 8.5 x In (roughly 272 A) means it passes motor-starting surges but trips fast on a hard short. The IP20 finger-safe terminals are fine for enclosed panels; no washdown rating here. Isolation suitability is certified per EN/IEC 60947-2, so it doubles as a disconnect with the toggle and contact-position indicator.
Installation notes
Mounts fixed on 35 mm DIN rail. Tunnel terminals accept 1.5 to 35 mm² rigid or flexible (with/without ferrule). Comb busbar and distribution blocks are compatible top or bottom. Separate earth-leakage protection block can be added alongside. Pollution degree 3 environment — suitable for control panels with moderate conductive contamination.
