The MGN60884 is a C60N miniature circuit breaker from the Multi9 range, a workhorse series for distribution panels. It's a 2-pole thermal-magnetic MCB rated 32 A at 50 °C with a C curve (magnetic trip at 8.5 x In ±20 %). That C curve means it's built for moderate inrush — motor starters, small transformers, lighting banks — where the start-up spike sits above resistive loads but below the D-curve's heavy kick.
Breaking capacity and real-world fault handling
Breaking capacity: 20 kA at 240 V AC, 10 kA at 415 V AC, 6 kA at 440 V AC. Ics is 75 % of those figures — 15 kA, 7.5 kA, 4.5 kA respectively.
Mounts fixed on 35 mm DIN rail. Tunnel terminals accept 1.5 to 35 mm² — flexible with or without cable end, or solid. Strip length 14 mm, torque to 3.5 N·m. IP20 finger-safe front. The toggle gives local ON/OFF indication, and there's a contact position indicator for isolation duty — it's certified for isolation per the standard. Earth-leakage protection requires a separate block (not built in).
