DC-rated miniature circuit-breaker for distribution panels
The MGN61839 is a Schneider Electric Multi9 C60H-DC miniature circuit-breaker, single-pole, rated 50 A at 50 °C per EN/IEC 60947-2. The thermal-magnetic trip unit with curve C (magnetic tripping at 8.5 x In +/- 20 % DC) provides overcurrent and short-circuit protection for DC distribution circuits. Breaking capacity is 20 kA Icu at 110 V DC, 10 kA at 220 V DC, and 6 kA at 250 V DC — all conforming to EN/IEC 60947-2. This means it can safely interrupt high-energy DC faults up to those levels, essential for battery banks, solar arrays, or DC bus distribution where arc extinction is harder than in AC circuits. The unit is tropicalised (class 2 per IEC 60068-2) for humid conditions up to 95 % RH at 55 °C.
Strip length is 14 mm. For dual or triple conductors, refer to the terminal capacity table: two cables up to 16 mm² rigid, three cables at 4 mm² flexible stranded. IP20 finger-safe terminals; IP40 in modular enclosure.
