DC-rated MCB for distribution panels
The Schneider Electric MGN61850 is a Multi9 C60H-DC miniature circuit breaker rated 16 A at 50 °C, with 2 protected poles and a C trip curve. It's built for DC networks — the magnetic trip threshold is 8.5 x In ±20% DC, and the breaking capacity hits 20 kA Icu at 250 V DC per EN/IEC 60947-2. That's the rating that matters for a 250 VDC bus; at 440 V DC it still interrupts 10 kA, and at 500 V DC it holds 6 kA. Pollution degree 3 and tropicalisation class 2 mean it handles humid, dirty panel environments without derating.
The 16 A rated current (In) at 50 °C is the continuous load it carries without tripping — spec it for the branch circuit's expected draw, not the breaker's thermal limit. The 2-pole configuration (both poles switched and protected) is standard for ungrounded DC systems where you need full isolation on both legs.
Clip-on DIN rail mounting, 36 mm wide (4 modules). Tunnel terminals accept up to 25 mm² rigid stranded or 16 mm² flexible; strip length 14 mm, torque to 2.5 N·m. The toggle gives local ON/OFF indication with a padlockable handle for lockout/tagout.
