4000 rpm, 3.3 N.m — torque curve and drive pairing
The MH31001P06F2200 delivers 3.3 N.m nominal torque at 4000 rpm, with the torque constant at 1.08 N.m/A measured at 120 °C copper temperature. The nominal torque derates with supply voltage and drive type — 3.3 N.m with LXM52 at 115 V three-phase, dropping to 2.9 N.m at 480 V three-phase on the same drive, and the same pattern repeats for LXM62 drives. The continuous power rating of 1520 W sets the sustained thermal ceiling for the winding class. Peak stall torque reaches 10.8 N.m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, giving a 3.3× overload margin for acceleration and deceleration cycles. The 11.2 A peak current (3 s) defines the drive's current-loop limit during these events.
Holding brake and mechanical integration
The smooth shaft (19 mm diameter, 40 mm length) requires a clamping-type coupling — no keyway for positive drive. The IP65 rating means the motor body and shaft seal withstand direct water jets, suitable for washdown zones. Maximum radial force at the shaft nose derates from 900 N at 1000 rpm to 530 N at 5000 rpm; belt-drive applications must respect this curve to avoid bearing overload.
Feedback and electrical connection
The single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides absolute position feedback within one mechanical revolution — no homing sequence needed on power-up for rotary axes. The rotatable right-angled connectors allow cable exit in four orientations, simplifying routing in tight cabinets. Stator resistance is 4.12 Ω and inductance is 14.9 mH, which sets the electrical time constant and influences the drive's current-loop tuning. Back EMF constant is 70.3 V/krpm — at 4000 rpm the motor generates 281 V line-to-line, which must stay below the drive's DC bus voltage for proper current regulation. The 100 mm international standard flange (centring collar 95 mm diameter, 3.5 mm depth) mounts directly to standard gearbox interfaces.
