Torque and speed — what the ratings deliver on a real axis
The MH31002P06A2200: Rated for 5.67 Nm nominal torque at 4000 rpm nominal speed, with a continuous power output of 2270 W — this is the sustained duty point for a direct-drive or low-ratio axis. Peak stall torque reaches 18 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range, giving headroom for acceleration and deceleration transients without oversizing the motor frame. Continuous stall torque is 6 Nm at 5.04 A continuous stall current — the motor holds position at rated torque indefinitely without thermal overload in natural convection cooling.
Encoder and feedback — single-turn SinCos Hiperface
Fitted with a single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder — this is a standard industrial feedback protocol that communicates absolute position within one revolution and analog sine/cosine tracks for interpolation. The Hiperface interface is compatible with Schneider LXM52 and LXM62 drive families, as well as third-party servo drives that support the protocol.
Mounting and environmental sealing
Mounts to an international standard flange with a 100 mm flange size and 95 mm centring collar diameter — fits standard servo motor mounting patterns for this frame class. Rated IP65 standard, meaning the motor body is sealed against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction — suitable for washdown environments in food processing or packaging lines. Electrical connection uses rotatable right-angled connectors, which simplifies cable routing in tight cabinets or on moving gantries.
Shaft and mechanical limits
Smooth shaft with 19 mm diameter and 40 mm shaft length — no keyway, so the coupling or pulley must clamp onto the shaft surface. Maximum mechanical speed is 6000 rpm, giving a 50 % overspeed margin above the nominal 4000 rpm for short-duration moves. Maximum radial force at the shaft nose is 990 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 620 N at 4000 rpm — factor this into belt-drive or overhung load calculations.
