Torque derating across drive voltages
The MH31401P02F2200: Nominal torque varies with the drive voltage and phase configuration: 9.36 N·m with LXM52 at 115 V three-phase, 8.5 N·m at 230 V single-phase, and 7.22 N·m at 400/480 V three-phase. The peak stall torque reaches 39.9 N·m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, with continuous stall torque at 10.3 N·m. The torque constant is 1.16 N·m/A at 120 °C copper temperature — use this for current-loop gain calculations when commissioning the drive.
Hiperface encoder and IP65 sealing
The multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides absolute position feedback over multiple revolutions — no homing cycle needed after power loss, which matters for tool-change axes and rotary tables. The IP65 rating means the motor body withstands coolant splash and dust ingress common in machining centers; the rotatable right-angled connectors let the cable exit adapt to tight enclosure layouts. The smooth shaft (24 mm diameter, 50 mm length) couples directly to the load via a keyless clamp or shrink disc — no keyway to introduce backlash.
